Story
In 2015, Two Dollar Things launched its first two stores in Papakura and Glen Eden, Auckland.
The company aimed to cater to dollar store customers by offering a wide range of quality products at very reasonable prices, providing affordability and value for money.
The positive feedback from customers has been overwhelming, and the stores have seen an increase in regulars every day.
However, starting from February 1st, 2023, Two Dollar Things underwent a rebranding, changing its name to “Two Dollar Things PLUS!”.
Due to the impact of inflation, the company had to increase its prices from $2 to $2.50 and introduced $5 and $10 price points. These changes were necessary for the company to survive.
Presently, Two Dollar Things PLUS! operates 20 stores nationwide, with plans for more locations in the near future.
