The Sun King Sunflower (Helianthus annuus), is an easy to grow giant, producing LARGE, bright yellow faces, on stalks that can reach over 4m.

How To Grow:

1. Sow 2 seeds 5mm deep and about 30cm apart, direct where they are to flower.
2. Thin out to 1 plant per position.
3. Staking recommended at early stage of growth.
4. Keep well watered and mulched in hot and dry weather.
5. Choose a site that is protected from wind and receives lots of sunlight.

When To Plant:

• South Island: Jan, Feb, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec
• North Island: Jan, Feb, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec

Flowering: 12-14 weeks

Quantity: 45 seeds
