Forono Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) is an easy to grow, long dark red variety that is slow to go woody.
How To Grow:
Drop seeds 12mm deep in rows 30cm apart.
Keep soil moist.
Thin out to 10cm apart when large enough to handle.
Sow thinly and repeat every 4-6 weeks for succession.
When To Plant: Late Winter to Autumn
Harvest: 10 weeks
